My Fujifilm X-Pro1

My first real Fuji Love <3

Camera Image
my old X-Pro1

She’s been with me to race circuits, pit lanes and around the world twice, she’s been on road trips, dog walks, hikes camping and commercial shoots. She’s seen the Grand Canyon, Mount Fuji, the streets of Sao Paulo, Europe and the wilds of Scotland. This was the camera that turned the DSLR tide for me. I started with the 18mm f2 and the 35mm f1.4 and that was all until I was tempted by the flirty X-T1 and then it became a full blown love affair all over again with the joys of using a camera and the pursuit of photographic perfection.

Fujifilm cameras and Fujinon glass seduce you with their retro vibe and an image quality that is sublime. Crisp sharpness that’s insane with a stunning film like quality. I find myself using the film simulations and JPEG files straight off the camera more and more in my commercial work, and only using the RAWs when I have more time to fully explore the image.

I’ve gone from addict to pusher and preacher this past year, I’ve become an Official Fuji X Series Photographer, a Fujiholic you might say…

Follow this X-rated affair (see what I did there?)  and see it develop through the new 2016 season…
